Creating a Clean Beauty Brand with Maia Alejandro

Meet Maia Alejandro, founder of FOR TMRW. After experiencing health concerns and a difficult time navigating the clean beauty and wellness space as a woman of color, Maia decided to launch FOR TMRW to encourage her Afro-Latinx community to indulge in self care rituals that are both safe and luxurious.

"I created FOR TMRW to celebrate my family, elevate the perception of my Caribbean roots in the beauty marketplace, and bring sustainable, mood-boosting beauty to the broader BIPOC community." - Maia Alejandro

Through founder Maia Alejandro’s passion for interior design and career background as a mental health clinician, the collections are grounded in color psychology, mindfulness and influences from design, art, photography and modern culture.

In Maia's story you'll learn how she navigated the world of beauty brands and products, the challenges that she came across, all while growing her family and not rushing her process. With intentional marketing, Maia and her support system have been able to create a beautiful, award-winning beauty brand that has allowed her to grow and model an entrepreneurship journey that is true to her values.
